Restaurant Vogelweide: Österreichische Küche 2for1

Very friendly service, generous portions and very tasty food!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
on Thursday, the 29.12.2011 we were in the Vogelweide for dinner.
Beer and salad were fine. But then the schnitzel for € 10,90 and € 14,90.
Because this restaurant has been around for a long time, we have provided schnitzel from the pan. Unfortunately we got deep fryer schnitzel with dark brown edges and a bloated panade. In response to our complaint, the waiter said, "I don't understand either. Otherwise the schnitzel always comes from the pan".
The bird pasture cannot be recommended.

This is really a restaurant that can only be recommended. Yesterday, one Sunday afternoon, there were three of us at the Vogelweide restaurant. It was well attended and rightly so. Fortunately one can sit very well and comfortably outside when the weather is nice. We chose the Wiener Schnitzel and it was simply sensational and super delicious. Afterwards we shared a Kaiserschmarren (for one person this is not to be mastered as dessert). The waitress was unobtrusive, but always present and of a pronounced friendliness. We always like to come back without Get2Card.

Small nice place with good food. Very abundant.

And again we had a nice evening in the bird pasture. We have never been disappointed by the schnitzel and you should definitely try the apricot dumplings!

My husband and I were at the Vogelweide on 18.09. in the afternoon. The service was very friendly and attentive, the Get2-Card was accepted without any problems. The food Wiener Schnitzel and chanterelles with Rösti and scrambled eggs were delicious and very plentiful. Unfortunately it is a bit too dim and a small renovation would be nice. Still, we'd love to come back.

First it was called Get2 Card gildet Sundays not , because of Schnitzeltag then we wanted to go, then it went, but 1 hour had to wait for food, and it was a Schnitzel with potato salad (nothing special) going no more.

The food is ok, the fried potatoes even very good. Unfortunately the schnitzel was a bit smaller than at the next table, but still sufficient. The service is very nice.

The food is fine, the Kaiserschmarrn is even very tasty, and the service is super nice and attentive.

Unfortunately I was disappointed by my visit there, the food was not tasty (Schnitzel was tough!) and there was pub flair with skat rounds and drunks!
