DISTEL Kabarett-Theater: Ende Gelände - Farewell to the DISTEL Studio

There are few good reasons (forest fire, gas delivery, special operation) to miss the program "Unfreiwillig komisch" (involuntarily funny) of the consolation prize-winning cabaret artists Henning Ruwe and Martin Valenske: Highly political, highly mean and at most conciliatory between the lines, they offer their program to all political failure and its failures of today. Sometimes unintentionally, but always very funny, the two young cabaret artists of the Berlin Distel really leave nothing unaddressed, similar to the food industry. That is bitterly necessary, because not only politically the tree burns. While it does not work out in Germany with heavy weapons yet so completely, at least humoristically high-quality one is rearmed. Even without a special fund of 100 billion, the arsenal is full of cracker punchlines and provides a good bump in the diaphragm. Ruwe and Valenske shoot across the board from all social positions. And in keeping with the big-political weather situation, it's clear that this is not a cabaret for the faint-hearted.

In times of rent madness, they test the last affordable bridges in Berlin, diagnose the health sector with end-stage capitalism, and don't let anyone take the butter off their bread despite new nutritional trends. With a lot of bitter wit and likeable looseness, the cabaret artists prove in their third joint program that political satire will probably still be needed for quite a while. "Unintentionally funny" is fresh for the day and highly entertaining. Current points against supposed top leaders, chronically important topics and scurrile everyday observations promise an evening of the extra class. A must for all friends of real political cabaret.
