The Happy Disharmonists is a mixed pop choir from Berlin. It was founded in 1985 by Carsten Gerlitz. The vocal ensemble consists of just over 20 singers.
From the music performance course of the graduating class of 1984 of the Georg-Herwegh-Oberschule in Berlin-Hermsdorf, the choir was founded in 1985. Under the motto "Choir - once different" he initially presented their own arrangements in the style of The King's Singers and the Comedian Harmonists.

The repertoire the Happy Disharmonists includes over 200 arrangements and ranges from their own a cappella arrangements and cover versions of classics of pop music z. T. combined with beatboxing on jazz and folk music to choral comedy with stage production.

Reinickendorf Classics is an annual cultural event rich in tradition with a focus on classical music. With around 50 events between October and April, this event takes place in various venues. Already at the end of the 40's until the beginning of the 50's a lively concert life developed in Reinickendorf in the auditoriums of the Reinickendorf schools, which is enjoying increasing popularity among the visitors.
