The accordion orchestra Euphonia presents a festive Christmas concert in the Wilmersdorf Auenkirche on the eve of the fourth Advent. With the festive season fast approaching, Euphonia invites you to escape the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle. With an atmospheric concert program full of cheerful and contemplative moments, the anticipation of Christmas increases. The musical variety ranges from concertante tangos and festive baroque music to well-known Christmas chorales. Euphonia performs works by Astor Piazzolla, Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Friedrich Händel and others.

In addition to the title aria from the cantata "Jesu, der du meine Seele" by Johann Sebastian Bach, Christmas passages from Handel's oratorio "Messiah" will also be heard. For the well-known soprano aria "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion", the ensemble, consisting of 20 accordion players, has invited soprano Antonia Schuchardt as a special guest. The up-and-coming soloist already impressed with her presence and vocal brilliance at the last Euphonia concert with her interpretation of "Carmina Burana".
