Where have they gone, the good old days of "Made in Germany"?
Germany is on the move abroad. To Poland, for example. MIELE, for example, is relocating its refrigerator production from Gütersloh to Lodz. Vicky Leandros once proclaimed: "Theo, we're going to Lodz". Incidentally, this German pop singer came from Greece. Welcome, Vicky! And the Chinese? They haven't been dependent on Germany for a long time. Today they simply build their own German workmanship...
So what? We Germans like to share with the world - only within society we prefer to divide: right, left, far right, left of center and then there's Sahra Wagenknecht. It's complicated. And what isn't complicated is made complicated - after all, what are laws for?
Bureaucracy is still Germany's core competence, nobody is fooling us. Okay, maybe the EU. Although... Everyone is now working on the European house on their own again. The Italians, Swedes, Dutch, Hungarians, Finns and Slovakia... And us? The great role model in the world - Germany - stinks in the EU! In terms of economic growth, we rank 26th out of 27 countries, but we are second last in terms of rail punctuality. Find the mistake.
Well... and education, our most important resource? After all, we're in 15th place in PISA. fuck! The New York Times wrote: "Forget everything you thought you knew about Germany." Too bad German students can't read that anymore.As you can see, we are still ahead when it comes to complaining. Only the Bulgarians are even more dissatisfied than us - man, are they lucky!
