The international double bass ensemble Bassiona Amorosa performs in Berlin!

In a very unusual line-up, young musicians, all of them multiple prizewinners of international music competitions, have come together to form a special formation. Founded in 1996 by Klaus Trumpf at the Munich Musikhochschule and named after the virtuoso and charming composition "Passione Amorosa" ("Passion of Love") by Giovanni Bottesini, the Ensemble BASSIONA AMOROSA was soon able to give enthusiastically received concerts at home and abroad.

As an international double bass ensemble they have been able since their foundation in 1996 to delight their audiences in Europe, the USA, Asia in concerts, on CDs, on the radio and on television with never-before-seen, varied and interesting programmes that span a wide range from early Renaissance and Baroque music to classic adaptations and pointed arrangements of light music.

Reinickendorf Classics is an annual cultural event rich in tradition with a focus on classical music. With around 50 events between October and April, this event takes place in various venues. Already at the end of the 40's until the beginning of the 50's a lively concert life developed in Reinickendorf in the auditoriums of the Reinickendorf schools, which is enjoying increasing popularity among the visitors.
