The Museum of the History of the Wall is located on Leipziger Platz, in the heart of Berlin.

For this museum, Berlin and its visitors have been waiting for 30 years. In a wide arc, like a biography, the story of the Berlin Wall from 1961 to 1989 is told. With large-format images, concise texts and exciting exhibits, myths and legends of the Cold War are corrected.

The Berlin Wall Exhibition UG was founded in 2010 by Jörg Moser-Metius. His goal was to restore the GDR border watchtower on Erna-Berger-Strasse and thus save one of the oldest relics of the Berlin Wall. This led to a series of very successful anniversary exhibitions on the history of the Berlin Wall and, at the same time, to the idea of founding our own museum.
