Restaurant ALvis im Hotel Albrechtshof Berlin: Grillen & Barbecue im Hofgarten

My wife and I were in June to the barbecue evening in the very beautiful yard garden. The food served was of high quality and convinced in taste. We also liked the friendly and polite service of the staff. For us this evening was something special. We will be very happy to come back and can highly recommend this restaurant. We went to the After-Work-BBQ at Alvis and it was great! Extremely friendly staff (waitress and grill master) with a smile on their face, high quality food and a really nice ambience in the courtyard garden. We felt very comfortable and will certainly come back again. Maybe the one or other friend of good taste will find his way, because it is worth it (we think).

On the 1st Advent we were again at the Albrechtshof for brunch. It was very, very tasty, as always.
We lacked for nothing. Whether starters, main courses or dessert. Everything was prepared with much love.
We will be happy to come there for brunch in the new year as well.

We had a fantastic barbecue at the Alvis. Meat, fish and shrimps juicy grilled. Side dishes tasty. Staff very friendly, quiet and unobtrusive. We weren't second-class customers despite Get2.

There's no better way to do it -
We were at the Alvis for the first time - and it was worth it. Maybe it was still too early on Saturday (about 19.30 o'clock), because it was still empty. Advantage we had free seat choice and took a table at the window. But it was also a rainy day.
We were immediately welcomed by a very friendly waiter - everything was perfect - the choice of food was easy and well solved - the recommendation for a Pinot Gris from the Salwey winery was 100% perfect. There was also a little greeting from the kitchen - it was also very tasty. The whole staff was very attentive and friendly - and if needed they were immediately at the table.
It was worth it - we will come back and look forward to it.

There were a lot of service people present. It has no special flair and the food was without special taste. All in all, normal food...

The brunch was great again today!
From warm to cold and first of all the dessert and the cakes - really very tasty. Even the coffee is not a flower coffee.
The service is very attentive and friendly. So let's go and try out

A big compliment to the trainee team. We were very well entertained, the buffet was very very good, nothing to complain about at the buffet. A small hint to the hotel, the toilets should be visited more often times. the Mr. toilet was not quite so clean.

The choice is far too small compared to other restaurants and the price. Food was also cold and egg has to be paid extra. It's very noisy inside.

Very courteous staff and a very good kitchen. We come to the brunch regularly and are always satisfied so far.

We were there today with a group of 6 people for the first time on Sunday break. The courtyard where our table stood was really beautiful. The service staff friendly and attentive. We feel quite welcome and did not have the impression that we would disturb :-), selection abundant and good, whether cold or warm. The only thing we looked for in vain were the juices on the buffet. Have us then freshly pressed O juice, which was offered to us as juice ordered ... because we then of course had to pay extra. If THE juices are only available on demand, it would be nice if the employees would offer them just as nice as coffee and tea. But this is real whining at a high level...It won't stop us from coming back for a break either...

We were four there (2 get2 cards / 4 guys) Don't expect so much: solid grilled meat, pork steaks, sausages pretty good, chicken breast bland, shrimp skewers were still almost raw, salads and vegetables pretty good. No beef or lamb! The "Grillmaster" was overwhelmed, orders were distributed to others. But also quite close to the grill. With the Get2card 12,- € incl. 0,3 Beer per person / A&M&F&D

We felt very welcome. Good quality of the breakfast buffet, paired with nice hospitality and relaxed ambience; beautiful places also in the courtyard. We like to have breakfast here more often. Absolutely also in the cellar go!

Today's brunch was very tasty. There was a nice selection of meat and fish dishes, especially the fish tasted very good. Unfortunately there were no eggs, but many other dishes to try. With Get2Card definitely recommendable without being a bit too expensive.

Today's Advent brunch with piano sound was great. Relaxed ambience, very tasty buffet (The deer and the duck were again a "poem".) Very courteous hospitality. We always feel very welcome and almost at home. Thanks for that!

This is the second time I have had the pleasure of Sunday brunch, and I will gladly take up this offer again. We had nothing to complain about in the service, as well as in the quality and selection of the food.

The Sunday brunch was as always a pleasure. The quality is good, the selection good. The service is correct and there was no complaint with the Get2 card. We'll definitely be back.

Were yesterday to the fire evening and despite not so good weather one was super spoiled. Everything so tasty and above all varied. Meat and fish from the grill and the so tasty vegetables and .... But also the buffet with dessert and cake was super tasty.

Really recommendable and in any case we will repeat it!

We went to the Alvis again, this time for a barbecue. It was great as always and the selection was very tasty and varied. The courtyard is simply a wonderful place and the service staff is very attentive and friendly. I'm sure we'll be back soon!

we (two friends) were there the second time. What we noticed again, it is always very empty there, hardly any tables occupied this time there were 5 tables + ours the restaurant with inner courtyard is nevertheless quite big. There is still no criticism of the fact that you don't have eggs in any form - no scrambled eggs, no cooking eggs, no sliced decorated eggs, nothing. On request we were informed that this will only be served under advance order. For a breakfast/brunch we found this very strange because eggs simply belong on the breakfast table for us, whether in the German or English area. Also to criticize, there are neither rolls nor croissants but only dark bread and (not fresh quite hard) sliced baguette. We were really disappointed by that for the price. Unfortunately, the asparagus was completely overcooked. Apart from the 3 points of criticism, the location is top, the inner courtyard is a great highlight far away from noise and hustle and bustle, the cold buffet is very tasty and the fruit selection is excellent and coffee and tea are included. Without Get2Card we would certainly not go there anymore, for the original price of 23 € pP is simply too little offered but for 11,50 € pP thanks to Get2Card we would take up the offer again and recommend it to others.

Today was the first time we were there for brunch and certainly not the last time. We were welcomed friendly and served very nicely all the time. The choice and quality of the food was very good and tasty. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, we'll be back.

The barbecue evening on 3 June was excellent. The offer was very good, there were not only freshly grilled meat and vegetables, but also cold delicacies - fish, salads as well as dessert, cake and soup. The service staff were attentive. We're definitely going back. The Sunday brunch is also excellent there.

We were already there the third time and it was FANTASTIC as always. The selection is abundant and there is simply nothing missing. The staff is also super friendly. You never know you're gonna eat for free. I can only recommend it and will go there again and again.

We were on 20.05. to the grill buffet in the ALvis. The service was very courteous and friendly. Since it was relatively empty (probably because of the weather), we had a fresh barbecue and brought it to our table. Also the cold buffet was extensive and very tasty.
We'd love to come back!

We were there for Easter brunch on Sunday. Although it was a holiday (and this brunch is more expensive), we had the opportunity to book it. We just had to pay the additional costs proportionately. Real money savers should therefore rather come at a normal WE. We found however (with the whole restrictions of other providers: only from then to then, not us that, etc...) alone the possibility and above all the uncompiled handling super. The brunch itself: large selection, rather upscale ambience - compensated by the mostly young, refreshing service staff, so that we never felt out of place. The price/performance ratio is right for us. I also think it's worth mentioning that we didn't even have a funny feeling about using the Get2 Card in this restaurant that we visited several times. Not at all. So a clear recommendation...

I've already been to the barbecue twice and think it's great that this season is starting again. We'll definitely sign up for it again and not just 1x.
But also to end the evening at the bar with one or two cocktails is very recommendable.

The Sunday brunch is really recommendable. Everything your heart desires and super tasty. Also the service is very careful and friendly. We'll definitely do it again.

We were at the 7.9.14 times again in the Alvis brunchen and could sit comfortably in the inner courtyard. It was great, as always. Very friendly staff, we felt very welcome again. The food was delicious.

We went to Sunday brunch. Could sit in the yard in nice weather. The food was very tasty. There was also a large selection of hot and cold dishes. And last but not least, there was a piece of cake. We'll definitely be back.

Today we took part in the fire evening = barbecue evening and were really enthusiastic.
The service very friendly and attentive, the food very fresh, varied and super delicious. We were certainly not the last time there, because you can't imagine a better end of work in the week.

Today we were very tasty together at the Alvis brunch. Cosy embiente, very friendly and attentive staff.
The buffet was very affectionately arranged and it was refilled again and again. We liked it very much, it was very good for everyone.

We were there in pairs and due to the price which is already very high for a Sunday brunch, we had corresponding ideas and demands. Unfortunately, these were only partially fulfilled. On the one hand, what was due to the extreme summer weather in 2013 was extremely hot and cakes and deserts were not cooled. Thereby these melted after some time however formally. There was no butter at the beginning, it was only collected when there was demand.
The selection and quality of the cold food was very good.
I can't judge warm food, because nothing particularly appealed to me, therefore not tasted.
Service was nice although not very attentive despite the very few guests (there were only tables in the courtyard, the large interior guest room completely empty)
The ambience is certainly paid with the same location, both beautiful, especially the open backyard.
We'd certainly come back again.

The ALvis is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport and car. We were lucky and found a parking lot right in front of the door.
We really liked it very much:
- problem-free booking & acceptance of the Get2Card
- very warm welcome
- great ambience, very cosy (not too full)
- nice, friendly and attentive service
- delicious dishes (various antipasti (extremely tasty :-), salads, cold meats, various desserts, bread, etc.)

For the second time (and certainly not for the last time) we went to the Sunday brunch at the "ALvis" and were again very impressed by the variety of the offer. We could see that the food was varied and something was offered for every taste. The brunch buffet is also a feast for the eyes! To mention is still the right price and the very nice and attentive service personnel. Since the weather was very nice, we were able to sit in the beautifully landscaped courtyard. Also as a get2Card owner you are welcome to the "ALvis"!
