Fliegendes Theater: The lucky child

A child is born with a lucky skin. He will succeed in everything in life, however many obstacles are put in his way. And there are plenty of them in the fairy tale: it is prophesied that it will marry the daughter of the king. When the king is told of this, he devises all sorts of things to prevent the wedding. He buys the child from the poor parents and throws it into a river. But the basket with the baby gets stuck in the mill wheel and the millers raise it lovingly, like their own.

17 years later, the king learns that the child has survived. He sends it to the royal court with a letter. It says to kill him as soon as he arrives. Unaware of this, the lucky child sets out and falls in with the robbers. But instead of robbing him, they have a heart with the young lad and secretly exchange the letter. Now it says that he is to marry the king's daughter. The king, however, sets one last condition for the lucky child, with which he should prove himself worthy of his daughter: He must bring him 3 golden hairs from the devil. Undaunted, the boy also takes on this task. On the way to hell he solves 3 more riddles and returns with the 3 golden hairs and 3 sacks full of gold. "Yes, he who does not fear the devil can win the whole world. And that's not a lie!"
