Maximilian Nowka sings Max Hansen

Max Hansen was one of the great entertainment stars of the Weimar Republic as a singer, cabaret artist and actor. He was, among other things, the first pay waiter Leopold in the "Weißes Rössl" and co-founder of the KaDeKo (Kabarett der Komiker) in Berlin. After his sharp-tongued chansons, he emigrated first to Vienna and then in 1938 to Copenhagen, his mother's country of origin. Like many other artists in exile, Max Hansen was no longer able to build on his former successes after the cultural upheaval of the Nazi era. In a cheerfully profound program, Maximilian Nowka and Andreas Peschel at the piano, directed by Annette Klare, remember this great artist.

Let yourself be whisked away to the golden 20s with songs such as "Einmal möcht ich sie küssen gnädige Frau", "Meine liebe Lola", "Ach Luise" and "Zuschaun kann i net".
