A concert evening with Chopin's most beautiful compositions!
Frédéric Chopin has been celebrated as a master of Romanticism for 200 years. The composer himself loved to sit at the piano for hours and play to himself. A pianist with brilliant technique who not only played the 88 keys, but also "touched" them. We present this beautiful simplicity of his music with outstanding young pianists in the "Chopin pur" series in the French Cathedral.
This year's Chopin pur series with young artists kicks off with the Ukrainian pianist Yuliya Drogalova, who made a name for herself as a child as first prize winner at the famous Prokofiev Competition and started out as a soloist and chamber musician at the Donetsk Opera House. After graduating from high school, she studied in Stuttgart and attended various master classes, finally perfecting her multi-faceted piano playing at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. In her new adopted home, she has since become a sought-after accompanist and solo pianist. Look forward to a concert evening with Chopin's most beautiful compositions, played by pianist Yuliya Drogalova.
