Christmas concert for organ, trumpet and soprano
Christmas is always a festive time around Alexanderplatz in Berlin. On December 26, the duo Daniel Schmahl (trumpet, flugelhorn and corno da caccia) and the internationally acclaimed soprano Anna Gütter invite you to a festive and contemplative concert at St. Mary's Church.Together with multiple prizewinner Ivan-Bogdan Reincke on the organ, they will present a wide range of compositions from the Baroque to the modern era. Whether in Christmas interplay with organ and trumpet, as a duo or solo, the lovingly selected pieces are dedicated to the festive character of the Christmas season and make you feel contemplative in the here and now. A special highlight is the "Nutcracker Suite" by Peter I. Tchaikovsky, played by Ivan-Bogdan Reincke on the organ.
